Update: It's Been Awhile, Friends!

Hey! Long Time No See! (From My Desk to Yours) @ArtofChelleElle

I apologize for my absence from writing and even posting to social media! Life has been crazy lately. I'll catch you up on the goings on. :)

Firstly, I've started a class. It has been one of the most amazing experiences and I am enjoying getting back into the role of a student. Of course, we can all be students during any phase of our lives, but it's nice to really understand firsthand that no matter how old you are, you're never too old for school. And I missed it!

Secondly, I've been a-travelin'. Those who follow me closely (Especially you lovely, attentive Instagrammers... hi! ^-^ *waves*) know that I took a trip to San Francisco recently. It was a great first stop for someone who has never been to California. SO beautiful! And may I say there is quite a bit to do and see. Our trip started off quite eventful as well, enough to where it may warrant another blog post. Keep on the lookout for that one. :)

Thirdly, I've started a new job. It's great and giving me some awesome experience. Plus, it's something that gets me in front of people much more often than I am used to and I'm so happy about that. I missed seeing more than a computer screen for a bit!

Fourth...ly? I've got a cool commission in the works and hopefully will be able to share all about it sometime soon.

Fifth...ly (*grammar cringe*) I've been contemplating getting the last portion of my novel written up and I have to be honest: there's been a big season of writer's block. Anybody relate? I see you writers out there... how are you doing it? Especially those who are participating in Camp NaNoWriMo!

Life has been busy and schedules have been shifting like crazy at our house. It seems like spring is truly a new season over here... and I'm not hating it. :D I just wish I could get a hold of it just a liiiiittle bit more...

So great to be back with you, guys.
